Your Midget Warriors ran the table, going a perfect 5-0 throughout the weekend to capture the 2016 Tyler Norrie Memorial Boston Pizza Challenge. It was a dramatic Championship game, with a heroic effort from Matt Lyons with under five minutes remaining to score the game winning goal. It was an inspired effort from both Dunnville and Simcoe, with your Warriors coming out on top 2-1. Matt Lyons went on to be named Tournament MVP, while the Warriors Spencer Kowalsky was named the tournaments Top Goaltender. The Warriors hung a "Norrie 22" shirt in the dressing room prior to each game, and played with the shirt hanging high behind the bench all tournament. Tyler was a huge inspiration for the team as his legacy continues to live on.
