2016-2017 Details, Seasons (Simcoe Minor Hockey)

Simcoe and District Minor Hockey invite you to apply for participation in the Simcoe and District Minor Hockey  Tyler Norrie Memorial Boston Pizza Challenge hockey tournament. Teams (Peewee (no body checking),   Bantam,and Midget) classified as B,CC,C,DD will play Nov 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2016 at the  Simcoe Recreation centre and Talbot Gardens also in Simcoe. Teams are guaranteed 3 games. Additional games are possible if the team  advances to the semi-finals/finals(semi-finals will depend on the number of teams in the division).

The tournament fee, which includes all gate fees is $850.00 Admission will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment and a completed application form. Cheques may be post-dated to Oct.14, 2016. 

The games will begin on Friday and will conclude Saturday night. The semi-final and championship   games will be played on Sunday. All games times given are final (no changes will be made).  If your team withdraws from the tournament and a replacement is not found, no refund will be given.

30^th ANNUAL SIMCOE LIONS TYKE TOURNAMENT 2017

 

DETAILS OF TOURNAMENT:

 

• HOUSE/LOCAL league teams only. NO MD or Roster Select teams are allowed.

• Teams will play at the Simcoe Recreation Centre and Talbot Gardens located in Simcoe.

• Teams are guaranteed 4 games in a round robin format plus additional games if your team advances.

• The tournament fee, which includes all gate fees, is $750.00

• Admission will be confirmed upon receipt of payment and a completed application form.

• Play begins on Friday evening and will conclude Sunday.

• A skills competition will be held Saturday after the round robin play. Each team is able to and encouraged to, submit 2 players to participate in the competition.

• The quarter-finals, semi-finals and championship games will be played on Sunday.

• Lunch will be provided for all players on Saturday.

• Each player will receive a tournament memento.

• Each player will receive a snack after one of their 4 guaranteed games.

  How to Register:

• Before sending in your registration form, please call or email the tournament contact to confirm that the tournament is not full.

• Email your tournament registration form to the tournament contact. You will receive confirmation via email that your registration has been received.

• Mail your cheque for $750.00 (payable to Simcoe and District Minor Hockey Association or SDMHA).

• Please include your OMHA approved roster with your tournament payment. Revisions may be emailed prior to the tournament.

Teams classified as BB, B, CC, C, DD, will play at the Simcoe Recreation Centre and Talbot Gardens and are guaranteed 3 games in a round robin format plus additional games if your team advances.The tournament fee, which includes all gate fees, is $750 and $800 for non-OMHA teams. Admission will beconfirmed upon receipt of payment and a completed application form.Play begins on Thursday afternoon and will conclude Sunday night. Teams in closest proximity will bescheduled to play Thursday. All remaining teams will play their first game Friday. The semi-final andchampionship games will be played on Sunday.
