Caius wins the Gold Jersey in 6-3 win over Tillsonburg 3
Caius won the Gold Jersey Friday night for his relentless back checking and coming back to help our defence and Austin.
The warriors came out flying on this night and had many good scoring chances, but the Tillsonburg goalie held them at bay. Eventually Tillsonburg scored to take a 1-0 lead. Exactly 2 minutes later Jeryn scored with the assist going to Aidan. 1 minute later Jeryn scored again with assists going to Colton and Tyson. Tillsonburg scored 30 seconds later and the period would end tied at 2-2.
The second period was a lot of seesaw back and forth action, and the only goal came with 52 seconds left in the period. Again from Jeryn to complete the Hat Trick, with assists from Paige and Caius.
The third period saw Tillsonburg tie the game at 3 about 4 minutes into the period. The warriors would not be denied though as Jonah would score shortly after with assists from Kameron and Gina. Jeryn would score with Tyson and Colton assisting and finally Gina scored with assists from Jonah and Kameron.
Great game team. Good to see everyone battle hard in the third period to win the game.
