Art Coombs Memorial Tournament Wrap Up
Great effort today Wildlings on your first tournament. The day started out with a bang with a 7-0 victory over Paris. On the backs of a shutout by Campbell S, first goal by Sophie J and a two assist performance by Justin G., the Wild dominated. Game two was a nail biter. Coming from behind in the second period on a two goal effort from both Owen B. and Jack W. the game came down to the last 5 seconds. The Wild pulled their goalie and tried for the equalizer with six skaters, but fell just short. All in all a third place performance in Pool A was something to be proud of. We are ready for our next tournament in Langton!!! Go Wild!!!!!!
