      U13 Team 1 MHN Lawyers - U13 A Division Champions

This was a fun and exciting season for the Simcoe Warriors U13 MHN Lawyers team.  The team started the season with tremendous success compiling a 12-1-1 record at the Christmas Break.  Despite an excellent start to the season, the MHN team experienced some challenges and adversity in the season’s second half.  The MHN team was facing a 6-game winless streak in February and was at risk of missing the playoffs.  The team overcame the adversity and won their last three games to clinch a playoff spot.

The MHN team continued their strong play by going undefeated in the Marci Cook tournament and carried their momentum into the playoffs.  The team upset top-seeded Waterford in the semi-finals with a 3-2 win and advanced to the championship series against Delhi.  It was a great series with a tight win in game 1 and a thrilling game 2 where the MHN team erased a 3-goal third period deficit but lost in overtime.  The MHN team won the championship with a 2-0 win in game 3.
