Congratulations to the U11 Marci Cook Champions - the West Niagara Flying Tigers
The West Lincoln Flying Tigers send a huge thank you to all the volunteers that make the Simcoe Arms Marci Cook Tournament possible. This is my fourth year bringing a team to a Simcoe tournament and I look forward to returning again next year. It is a wonderful way to raise funds and awareness, and a perfect way to cap off a season. We played five great teams and were impressed by the sportsmanship and talent of the U11 players and coaches. Our core group of kids have played together since they were Tykes. Last year we were outscored 26-4 and lost all 3 games. They have worked really hard this season and our goal was to win a game in Simcoe. These are true local league kids who work together and play as a team, and we couldn't be more proud of their accomplishments on and off the ice. See you next year!
