Submitted By Martin Jefferson on Sat 09 04, 21
The start of the Simcoe Warriors season is fast approaching!  Below, find some preliminary information how what the season start will look like:

Development Skates

Beginning immediately after Labour Day all players registered with Simcoe Minor Hockey will begin group skates with their age division.  These ice times will focus on getting our players back in shape as well as doing player evaluations to determine team structures. Ice times are posted on the website.

Goalie clinics with On Point Goaltending will also start Saturday September 11, 2021 at Talbot Gardens.

-8 am for U9 to U11
-9 am for U12 to U18

The cost of these clinics is included in your registration fees so we encourage all goalies to attend.

Regular Season

SDMHA will be participating in the Intertown Local League.  We are awaiting confirmation on league play start dates.

OMHA Vaccination Policy

On September 3rd the OMHA has adopted a mandatory vaccination policy.  This policy affects all vaccine-eligible players, game officials, OMHA officials, instructors, association officials, team officials and volunteers.  All affected persons must be fully vaccinated by October 31, 2021 to participate in sanctioned activities.  Please see the attached OMHA Vaccination Policy for full details.

More information will be shared in the days and weeks ahead, so please check the website regularly.  In the meantime, we look forward to seeing you at the arena soon!
