Amalgamation Committee
SDMHA is looking for two or three members in good standing to help form an almagamation committee.
The purpose of this committee is to explore the idea of amalgamating with other interested (if any) local centres to form a larger, stronger association.
There are many potential benefits to the concept and we want to explore in greater detail these as well as any potential negative aspects.
The committee would also be responsible for meeting with any interested centre committees to discuss how this concept might unfold and come to fruition.
NOTE: There is no current planned amalgamation process. This is a very preliminary step in the process of determining whether this fits the best interests of our association.
