Pre-Summer Update
Submitted By Andrew Davidson on Thursday, May 26, 2016
Pre-Summer Update:

Hopefully this finds you refreshed and ready for the summer after the May 2-4 long weekend.   Please be safe while enjoying your time away from hockey.   Hope to see you all at the rink this fall/winter!

Jump Start Day

Canadian Tire Simcoe will be holding Jump Start fund raisers at their store.   They have asked if there would be any children willing to volunteer a few hours of their time to help do ome fund raising, some time in the coming weeks. It will be a one day event.  More details regarding date/time to follow.

If you have a child willing to volunteer please check back here for further details or contact any of the executive members.  Canadian Tire was extremely gracious during our fund raising efforts from this past season and we strongly encourage all members of our association to please come out and help us return the favour and help represent SDMHA.  Hope to see many familiar faces there.

2016-2017 Season Registration

Registration for the coming 2016-2017 season will be open online shortly.  We will be holding in person registration at dates in July which are yet to be determined.  Check back here later for further details.

Duck Race

We will be holding the annual duck race this year at the Lynn River Music Festival. We would like to have some of our children come out and assist with ticket sales.   We are encouraging all members to volunteer, even if for just an hour.  It is an extremely rewarding time.   Please contact Jane Turner or any of the other executive members if you would like to volunteer.

Warrior Wear

We will be offering various Warrior Wear items this year, including but not limited to hockey bags, jackets, pants, hats and toques.  We hope to have forms available at in person registration dates and at a later date closer to season start.   Check back here for further details.
