Submitted By Andrew Davidson on Monday, August 3, 2015
Simcoe Minor Hockey held their Annual Rubber Ducky Race this past weekend at the Lynn River Music & Arts Festival in Simcoe.

The first race was held on Sunday, August 2nd, 2015 at 3:00 pm.

The results of the race were:

1st Prize goes to Joe Pacheco with duck 94
2nd Prize goes to Thomas Mckinnon with duck 25
3rd Prize goes to Ray Sulisz with duck 350

This year we added a second race which was held on Monday, August 3rd, 2015 at 3:00 pm.

The results of the race were:

1st Prize goes to Billy Tomlinson with duck 61
2nd Prize goes to Violet Molewyk with duck 350
3rd Prize goes to Mike Bonaccorso with duck 188

Thanks to everyone that donated to the races this year helping to support Simcoe Minor Hockey.  Thanks as well to all of the volunteers that generously donated their time both prior to and over the course of the weekend selling tickets and running the races.  Without all of you the Annual Rubber Ducky Race would not have been the success that it was.
