Tyke White has awesome weekend in Niagara Falls
The Tyke White team traveled to Niagara Falls the weekend of March 10th-12th and came away with 2 wins and 1 loss.
Friday morning, Tyke White faced off against the eventual champions from Meadowvale. Against a very tough opponent, we didn't have our best game and ended up losing 7-0. Players of the game went to Ryder and Liam
After some lunch at the Farmhouse Cafe, the Tyke White players came back ready to play against NOTL #1. The entire team played so much better and didn't give NOTL many chances on Ryder. In a final score of 9-0, Ryder earned his first shutout of the season. Awesome job Ryder. Players of the game went to Ally and Marlon

After the NOTL game, the team went back to the hotel and had an awesome evening. Parents had a great time and the kids play mini sticks for hours.
Saturday morning we were back at the arena for a 9 am game against Waterloo. Again in this game, all players came out flying and secured a 5-0 victory, with Ryder earning his second shutout of the tournament and season. Ryder played so well, the referee mentioned he deserved a special reward. Root Beer for Ryder.

Unfortunately, due to the format where only 2 teams moved on to the final, our team did not move on to play on Sunday.
We did end up having a couple great meals in Niagara Falls and another amazing evening at the hotel.
