Dear Parents & Players,
Thank you to all players and parents who helped make our 2015-2016 season successful. Each team should be very proud of all they accomplished this year. Even though the 2015-2016 has come to an end, SDMHA wanted to take this moment to remind parents of upcoming dates/events as we get prepared for the 2016-2017 season.

Even though the 2015-2016 has come to an end, SDMHA wanted to take this moment to remind parents of upcoming dates/events as we get prepared for the 2016-2017 season.
SDMHA Annual General Meeting:
We would like to remind all members of our upcoming AGM on Wednesday April 20, 2016 starting at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the Simcoe Rec Centre in the arena lounge. We have a number of positions available on the executive we will be looking to fill - it is a great way to volunteer and get involved. We will also have a presentation for a new look for the Simcoe Warrior Jerseys. We have three proposals and will be looking for everyone's feedback on. Those who attend will be entered into a draw for 50% off their registration fee for the upcoming season.

NOTE: Unless specified otherwise the term is two years for each of the above positions.
Coaches Selection:
We would like to say a sincere thank you to those who applied to be a coach for a rep team for next season. The rep coaches for the 2016-2017 season are:
Novice - Derek Harrington
Atom - Eric Awrey
Peewee - Adam Walker
Bantam - Dave Leatherland
Midget - Braedan Shand
The coaching selection for AE and Local League will follow at a later date. Please watch the website for updates.
Try outs for 2016-2017 Season:
Try outs for our rep teams (Novice to Bantam) begin on April 26, 2016. Please visit the website for the full schedule. Please note that this year all try outs will be done in the spring and teams will be finalized. We will not be holding try out dates in the fall for Novice to Bantam.
Registration for 2016-2017 Season:
Registration for the upcoming season will commence online on April 25,2016. All players must be registered by August 10, 2016 or a late fee of $100 will apply.
Complaint Process: Just a reminder, if any individual has a complaint that they want SDMHA to investigate, we have a form and a formal process we follow. The process we have mirrors the process of OMHA. The form and further details can be found on our website.Thank you to everyone who volunteered in one way or another this past season- without all of our volunteers, SDMHA would not be able to operate and be as successful as we are.
